A snowflake etched votive candle holder
Hello, hello! I hope this post finds you happy and enjoying the holiday season so far. At my lovely preschool, we have a yearly tradition…the Secret Santa gift exchange. My kiddos joke that it takes no time at all for my recipient to know that it’s me. I am okay with that!
I found this little candle holder at the dollar store, and washed it. I used a snowflake image from The Graphics Fairy, and made various sizes of the snowflake before cutting it out of vinyl on my Silhouette.
I used some scrap vinyl for this. I carefully stuck my snowflake stencils around the glass, making sure to press out any air bubbles.
When I was sure all of the vinyl was secure, I brushed on some Armour Etch glass etching cream. I set the timer for about six minutes, and then rinsed the holder thoroughly under cool running water.
All I need is a little white candle and I’m ready for the gifting to begin!
