DIY Washi Tape Corral
I have written about this passion of mine before. I’m warning you that this time won’t be the last time that I do. My love for washi tape began a year ago and intensifies as time passes.
I used to keep my ever growing collection in glass jars, and then I moved them to a wicker basket. The problem with the first choice was digging to the bottom of the jar for the roll I wanted. The problem with the second option, was that I couldn’t even see them in the basket. And that, my friends, is half the fun. They are so pretty and appealing just sitting out on my table. My solution?
Hello Loves! I am so excited about this little corral. Let me show you how I made it.
Amazingly, I had these objects in my stash. I had this 48 inch long wood dowel, and floral/craft ring from DIY Bangles. The ring comes with the holes already drilled. Score.
My husband kindly cut the dowel into five sections, and then drilled holes into the bottom of them (thanks!).
We added the screws…
…and I painted it black. Yes, because it’s my favorite color, but also because I thought my colorful tapes would really shine against a neutral color.
I am so proud of my corral. Did you notice how I left plenty of room for future acquisitions?
