I can’t leave well enough alone

What kind of  fun would that be?  Take for instance this next little project…

Don’t you love that?  I found this label from The Graphics Fairy, it’s fabulous! The colors are amazing, along with the typography. The tin was free–someone was going to throw it away {gasp}.  I know–the horror!  Just don’t think about it anymore.

It’s the perfect size to store some of my fibers that I use for cards and mixed media pieces.  Plus, I’ll use any excuse to break out those sweet little buttons and keys

I printed the image onto regular printer paper in wallet size.  I gently pressed my clear embossing stamp pad over the entire image.  I covered it in clear embossing powder and shook the excess back into the bottle.

After I set it with my heat tool,  I cut it so that I could attach the narrow part onto the lid.  I lined up the rest underneath (onto the tin).  I used Mod Podge to glue it on. I repeated the process on the other side.

I added the antique keys to the top with Mod Podge Dimensional Magic.  They are perfect for this little box because they are flat on one side. They add some fun to the top, and I can still see what’s inside.  I’m so happy with how it came out…it’s functional and fantastic!

Have a great night!
