Patchwork pendant with origami paper
I love blogging. Have I ever mentioned that before? Maybe three or four times, right? One of the reasons is, because of this phenomenal community of bloggers, the latest and greatest news gets shared.
My choice was some fantastic origami paper. All I had to do, was a make a great project from the sample. This is what I made with it…
These are papers that they sent to me…
I punched rectangles out of the two papers on the left hand side for my pendant.
Using Mod Podge, I carefully put them in place. After letting the Mod Podge dry, I trimmed the excess and sanded around the edges. Then I added about three coats of Dimensional Magic–being sure to let each coat dry thoroughly in between.
I’m posting this on WholePort’s facebook page. If I get enough “likes” for my project, I could win some money to spend on their site! That would be sweet.
Check me out over there when you have the chance–thanks!
