Simple but sweet coffee plaque
I know March is a notoriously long month, but this one seems to be moving through at a good pace for me. I have a cute and fast project to share with you…
And now, the instructions…
I had a piece of scrap wood (cause don’t we all just have scraps of wood handy?), that I painted with white acrylic paint. I left the very middle unpainted because I knew I was covering it.
I added my paper after cutting it with deckle edge scissors. I used Hard Coat Mod Podge and rolled over the top with my brayer to eliminate bubbles and wrinkles.
For my cups of coffee, I used three clear stamps, and these three coordinating papers. I used StazOn ink in black and cut them out. To give them that three dimensional appearance, I glued them on with adhesive foam squares.
I finished the plaque with four tiny white buttons in the corners. The papers were in the Stella and Rose My Mind’s Eye collection. I love them so, I don’t know whether to make a bunch of things with them…or hoard them! Weird, right?
