Watercolor pencils, fun fiber, and a baby girl card
And let’s never forget The Graphics Fairy!
One of my favorite parts about my job in a preschool, is getting to know the families, and watching them grow! We just had a little guy become a big brother to a little sister, and I made a card for his family.
This image started out in black and white–perfect for watercolor pencils and a skinny brush. For the skin, I used a crayon (yes, you read that right), because that was what I had on hand. I love the little mischievous puppy chewing on the book in the corner. He reminds me of someone….hmmm.
After I cut the image out with decorative scissors, I added the fiber for a little bit of texture.
This is a rattle stamp that I use quite a bit when creating baby cards. Just a little simple detail to tie the whole card together!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday friends!
